Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, your MJ Safaris Uganda guide will warmly welcome you before transferring you to your hotel in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, relax after your flight or explore nearby attractions.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, enjoy one of East Africa’s most scenic drives as you travel north through Rwanda’s famous rolling hills toward Volcanoes National Park.

Spend the evening relaxing while preparing for tomorrow’s unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Today is the highlight of your safari.
Following an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing before joining experienced ranger guides into the rainforest.
Your trek may last between 2 and 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
Once found, you’ll spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 4: Lake Kivu Escape
